During this time, we have worked hard to provide you a wide range of hydroponics equipment, indoor grow lights and nutrients, along with reliable up to date growing advice. We also pride ourselves on offering you great convenience, which is why we offer you so many ways to shop, as well as a choice of payment methods.
Three Hydroponics Shops – Sheffield, Barnsley and Ripley
As one of the UK's leading hydroponics retailers, Aquaculture-hydroponics has three shops you can visit. Or main superstore is in Sheffield, and our second and third shops are in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and Ripley, Derbyshire.
Open seven days a week, our Sheffield superstore is one of the largest hydroponics retail outlet in the UK, which means you can be sure to find all of the hydroponic products you need. A member of our trained staff can also offer you reliable growing advice.
If you do visit our Sheffield superstore, a look inside our large glass greenhouse is a must. Not only will you find some of the most popular grow systems at work, but also exotic plants, herbs, fruits and vegetables!
Our Ripley shop is open six days a week and stocks a wide range of hydroponic equipment, grow lights and nutrients. In the unlikely event you can't find what you want, we can always get it for you from our Sheffield superstore. Also, like our Sheffield superstore, by visiting our Ripley shop, you can get reliable growing advice from a member of staff.

We have put the information articles together to help you achieve a greater understanding of hydroponic growing.
Shop Online and Pick-up at Store
To make it even more convenient for our customers, why not shop online and pick-up at one of our stores. Customers obviously want to pick up the purchased products at the store which is closest to their location and at appropriate time. When checking out orders online, customers can select stores which are near their location and even choose the time they want to come for pick-up.
The service is available for most but not all of the items we sell, so please check individual product pages when you place an order. We’re unable to accept orders that include items for collection from one of our shops as well as items for delivery, so in these cases, please place two separate orders – one for collection and one for delivery.
Maps and opening times are shown for each store during the checkout process, and the details for your chosen shop will appear on your receipt.
Please bring a printout of your order receipt or order confirmation email instead as proof of purchase, along with photo proof of ID (passport or photo driving licence).
We’re happy for someone else to collect your order, but to prevent fraud the person you've nominated must present your order number and their photo ID (passport or photo driving licence).

Several Payment Methods
To help make ordering your hydroponic products simpler, Aquaculture-hydroponics can offer you several payment methods: cash, postal orders, cheque and all major debit and credits cards. If it's easier, you can even make a direct payment into our bank account.
We aim to make paying for your hydroponics products easy and convenient. Choose from the following options:
Pay online with your debit or credit card
We accept all Visa and MasterCard credit cards (and their derivatives), Switch, Maestro, Delta, Solo and JCB.
At Aquaculture, we take your privacy and security seriously. When you make a payment online, our secure server software encrypts your information. This protects your personal details from any unauthorised access.
Pay over the telephone with your debit or credit card
If you wish to pay for your goods over the telephone, simply call us on 0845 644 3066 and have your debit or credit card details ready. We can take telephone orders Monday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm.
Pay by cheque or postal orders
Make your cheque or postal orders payable to Aquaculture Ltd and, along with your order details, post to:

First of all you need to order your hydroponics products via our website or by calling us on 0845 644 3066. Once you've done this, visit any Barclays Bank (or their website) and deposit the total amount of your order into the following account:

Visit one of our three shops, with our flagship Sheffield Store being one of the UK's largest hydroponics retail outlets.
We always honour the manufacturer's guarantee period where offered; these are usually one year unless otherwise stated. Please see individual product pages for details.
In addition to the first year manufacturer’s guarantee on electrical items, we provide a second year service guarantee at no extra cost . This means you get at least a two-year guarantee on all electrical items when you shop with Aquaculture. We will repair any electrical product you have problems with during this period.
Please note: H.I.D lamps are covered by a three-month warranty only.
This additional service guarantee provides :
- A repair service in the event of breakdown of any functioning part of your product, for the period stated by the Aquaculture guarantee.
- We'll provide the repair service without charge up to a cost equal to the original purchase price paid for the product.
- If we decide your product cannot be repaired, or is uneconomical to repair, we'll replace it with the same model. If it's no longer available, we'll discuss an alternative settlement with you.
- Occasionally, we may ask you to pay for the repair and claim the cost of the repair from us.
These service and repair costs are excluded from the guarantee
- No guarantee will be honoured on any H.I.D lighting system where the lamp has not been screwed into the E40 lamp holder properly or the IEC fitting (if applicable) has not been completely pushed into the socket.
- Repairs due to deliberate damage or neglect of the product.
- Consumer replaceable items including, but not limited to, batteries, nutrients and other consumables.
- Cosmetic damage and/or non-functional parts which do not affect the normal use of the product.
- Work which relates to a manufacturer’s recall of the product.
- Any loss suffered as a result of not being able to use the product, or any loss other than the repair or the replacement cost of the product.
- We reserve the right to charge for the expense of a service call when no fault has been found with the product after we have inspected it.
